ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Aurelie
I have a neurodiverse modern family. My husband and I share 5 children, and all of us are either autistic, ADHD or both.
I’m a qualified nutrition therapist, a mindfulness teacher and a junior counsellor. I also hold a number of professional development certifications to bring you the best of science-backed advice and teachings.
But it wasn't always this way
Before Zhealthy, I was exhausted. My mental and physical health was affected by constant anxiety, generalised pain, low self-esteem, and excess weight.
At my lowest point, I realised something had to change. My self-improvement journey led me to qualify as a nutrition therapist and lose over 37 kg. With the bonus of improved health, I was able to cope with less and less medications.
My relationships and family dynamics also needed some TLC and the lack of professional help with an extensive waiting list decided me to learn psychology and eventually enrol as a trainee counsellor.
In this process, I realised the wide spread of misinformation and how little reliable knowledge was available to support people with neurodiversity. I extensively focused my learning on ADHD and Autism as well as their related challenges including ODD, OCD, PDA, misophonia, Alexythemia, Dyslexia, tourette, RSD, to name only a few…
